Deputy President William Ruto has reacted to the ongoing BBI ruling that will determine the fate of the initiative birthed by the handshake.

In a video seen by this writer, Ruto outlines his agenda for the nation, noting that for those supporting BBI, “the dice is cast” hinting at the fate that awaits the handshake team should the court of appeal agree with an earlier ruling made by the high court.

The second in command outlined that constitutional changes are not a priority to Kenyans and went ahead to outlined his top agenda for the nation.

“The dice is cast!Hakuna vile wanaweza kurudisha haya maneno nyuma. (There is no way they can take our agenda behind. We have been telling our competitors that a time has come that Kenyans want to talk about development, empowerment and economic growth before talking about leadership, political positions and constitutional amendments).”Ruto said.

The second in command added that it is only afterr the priorities have been addressed that Kenyans will have conversations oin the division of political posts.

The fate of the BBI now lies in the hands of the seven judges who are currently delivering a ruling on the matter.

Others who have reacted to the developing story are Kipchumba Murkomen and Moses Kuria.
