Stivo Simple Boy speaks of marrying: “I met her on the road”

Stephen Otieno popularly known as Stivo Simple Boy has revealed his plans of marrying.

The soft-spoken artiste, who lives in Siranga, Kibra Constituency hails from a humble background is known for his educative hit songs. .

He became famous three years ago after releasing Vijana Tuache Mihadarati song and he has never been in a hurry to get into any serious relationship.

His story was highlighted on the Churchill Show journey series, and it is amazing. His story has won the hearts of many Kenyans. In one of his songs, Stevo talked about how hard it is to find true love.

Stivo is currently dating a Kibra based lady, and speaking to Churchill, he said: “I met her on the road and approached her. I told her ‘nimekuzimia na tena nimekudata’ (I have fallen in love with you). We exchanged numbers.”

The singer, who shot to fame after his Mihadarati song, said he is in love with Fridah and hopes to tie the knot with her soon. He revealed that he took time to learn his lady before taking things to the next stage.

“Siwezi penda mtu mara moja mpaka nijue tabia zake (I can’t just love someone when we meet once, I take time to learn more about her,” Stivo stated.

“I met her brother because her parents’ live upcountry and I told him I was interested in his sister. He told me its okay as long as nisikuwe umbwa mwitu, leo niko na huyu kesho niko na ule (you don’t have a roving eye),” he added.

The born-again Christian said they plan to walk down the aisle soon once everything goes back to normal.

“Harusi tutapanga wacha tuone vile hii Coronvirus ikipungua. Hata wewe unaweza kuja kwa harusi (We will plan for a wedding when Coronavirus cases go down. Even you (Churchill) you can attend),” Stivo said.
