Directorate Of Criminal Investigation (DCI) has reportedly recovered a list of items from the deposited Turkish national Harun Aydin’s.
The Deputy President’s associate’s arrest and deportation have sparked mixed reactions across the political divide as the DCI sleuths uncover the list of assorted items that they recovered from the DP’s ally after a thorough search in a bid to establish any links to terrorism which was claimed he finances.
Reports by the DCI under the anti-terrorism police unit indicated that the items which were recovered ranged from personal phones, sim cards, handwritten notes, payment agreements, airline cards, and assorted business cards.
All the items reportedly recovered from the Turkish National who is also said to be the second on commands close friend was found in his possession;
According to the DCI reports it is evident that there was nothing recovered that could be linked to the alleged terror charges which the state was pursuing against him.
Deputy President William Ruto who has been roped into the mater is claimed to have been the source of his woes after his apology on behalf of Kenyans.
Taking to his Twitter handle page the hustler Nation Spokesperson said he called Aydin and apologized to him on behalf of the government following his ‘dramatic deportation on Sunday 8 August night.
DP Ruto, however, noted that the arrest of Harun was torture and profiling of the businessman before asking to fly out of the county even after the government had nothing to charge him with is not proper.
“Just talked and apologized on behalf of the government to Aydin, now in Turkey, who was politically arrested, tortured, and falsely profiled as a ‘terrorist’ but later asked to fly out….” DP Ruto posted adding that political wars are expensive and dangerous.
