Sakaja Discloses Why He Calls DP Ruto Frequently, But Not Calling President Kenyatta

Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja has finally spoken on the main reason why he is in constant communication with the Deputy President William Ruto revealing his relation with President Uhuru Kenyatta and other diplomats in the country.

Speaking during Churchil show on Sunday 13 June hosted by Daniel Ndambuki popularly known as Churchill, the outspoken legislator opened up revealing why he ofenly calls DP Ruto and not calling the President despite him being his party leader.

The youthful lawmaker was speaking about how the ruling Jubilee Party came into existence when Churchill asked him whether he still communicates with DP Ruto regardless of the party issues.

The lawmaker ascertained to you the show host that he is on good terms with the Second in Command, adding that they regularly talk to each other and he calls DP Ruto frequently and the DP also calls him back.

The Senator also disclosed that he also communicates to President Uhuru Kenyatta, just the way he talks to his deputy, however, he noted that he only sends a text message to the President, and allows him to call back when he gets time.

Sakaja further stated that he believes it is right when the President calls, and not him (Sakaja) calling him (President), that’s why he prefers sending a message to the President when he has something to tell him.

Sakaja further revealed that he is in constant communication with all top political leaders, including the ODM leader Raila Odinga, former Vice Presidents Kalonzo Musyoka, and Musalia Mudavadi, among other top political dignitaries.

The lawmaker also noted that regardless of political differences, politicians are always talking to each other, giving an example of Mudavadi attending DP Ruto’s daughter’s wedding despite their political differences.
