Roselyne Akombe lashes at Raila Odinga sharing embarrassing video of the ODM party leader [Video]

Former Independent Electoral and Boundaries (IEBC) Commissioner DR. Roselyne Akombe has come out guns blazing, firing at the ODM leader Raila Odinga for being clueless on the BBI document and fumbling about it.

Akombe’s reactions were in line with an eight-minute clip that captured the ODM defending the document while struggling with its content when he should be knowing it like the back of his hand.

Taking to Twitter, the US-based United Nations employee expressed her disappointment and being at pains with Raila’s mastery of the document, and why he had to be reminded.

“Rather painful to watch this clip especially from minute 2:50 onwards. When one needs prompts to remember what is in the #BBIReport, which he is promoting, then we are definitely in trouble,” tweeted Akombe.

The video featured Raila fumbling with the contents of the document while flanked by Interior CS Fred Matiang’i and a host of other western political leaders.

“I don’t know how the creation of the Ombudsman will interfere with the independence of the judiciary, that is propaganda…. the other propaganda is mmh…mmh..this issue of mmh…mmh…what was it?” Posed Raila before the leaders who accompanied him reminded him on the issue of bloated government that has been opposed by Deputy President William Ruto and his allies.

The eloquent former commissioner wondered whether it is really of importance to amend the 2010 constitution at a time when the pro-BBI leaders fumble with it.

This comes at a time when DP Ruto and his allies have been criticizing the report with the latest move of changing tunes calling for a consensus on the document.

The team has fiercely critiqued the document, stating that the leaders ought to focus on cushioning the lives of Kenyans in the aftermath of the Covid-19 strike.
