President Uhuru okays expulsion of Alice Wahome, Nominated Senator Mwaura from Jubilee Party

President Uhuru Kenyatta has given the green light to remove Jubilee Party Nominated Senators Isaac Mwaura and Millicent Omanga from their positions and expel them from the ruling outfit.

According to Jubilee Vice Chairperson David Murathe, the Head of State will crack whip the whip on rebel Jubilee Party members, who include a number of legislators from DP Ruto’s camp.

Those targeted for expulsion include Kandara MP Alice Wahome who has openly come out to discredit President Uhuru Kenyatta’s regime.

“We will crack the whip on errant Jubilee Party members. Ruto will also have to choose whether he wants to be in opposition or in government. Alice Wahome has been consistently attacking President Uhuru, his family, and his administration.”

”We will not take it anymore. She will serve as an example to the rest of the Tanga Tanga brigade. Members advancing the ideologies of other political outfits not affiliated to JP will be expelled,” Murathe revealed on Sunday night in an interview with KTN.

The others are nominated Senators Isaac Mwaura and Millicent Omanga, who have publicly associated themselves with the newly formed United Democratic Alliance (UDA) associated with Ruto.

According to David Murathe, a close ally of President Uhuru Kenyatta, the Tanga Tanga legislators take the Head of State to be a lame-duck President, something that Ruto and his associates have got wrong.

The Jubilee Party Vice-Chair also asked the DP to decide whether he wanted to fully be in the Opposition or in government.
