According to Wambiri, she met the late MP in 2012 in Ruai area, Nairobi when she was a hawker.
Agnes Wangui Wambiri has finally opened up on how she met, built a seven-year relationship and sired two children with departed Matungu MP Justus Murunga.
She was hawking porridge, boiled tubers and tea in the area.
“I used to hawk porridge and cooked tubers in the sewage area in Ruai,” she told Nation.
She added that the late MP had been her regular customer when he was the supervisor at the Embakasi Ranching Limited which is a land buying company.
“I used to sell him porridge or tea every day. Then he fell for me,” said the woman.
The mother of three said the MP then moved her to a three-bedroom house within the same location where she is currently living with her two children.
Before meeting Murunga, Wangui had another son from a previous relationship but the minor is said to be staying with his grandmother in Ruai.
She also said she stopped hawking porridge and focused on raising her children after the MP allegedly said he would take care of them and that he would meet all their needs.
“I stopped selling porridge and tubers after Murunga said he would take care of me and the children. He rented a house for us and used to meet all our needs,” said the woman.
