Busia governor Sospeter Ojamong has asked ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya party boss Moses Wetangula to support Raila Odinga yet again ahead of 2022 polls.
Governor Ojamong has said , the presidential race will be a two horse race between Deputy president William Ruto and Raila Odinga.
“I am asking my brothers Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula of One Kenya alliance to give Raila one last moment of support,” said Ojamong while attending a launch of NHIF cards in Bumula Bungoma spearheaded by Political activist Jack Wamboka.
Devolution cabinet secretary Eugene Wamalwa was in attendance and kept off from discussing politics.
Ojamong further said that Raila is better placed to to compete against Ruto.
“Let my brothers not take chances. Odinga is the best bet to deal with Ruto,” said Ojamong.
The move comes at the backdrop of the ongoing boardroom meetings within former NASA alliance to elect a flag bearer.
OKA members comprising of Kalonzo Musyoka,Moses Wetangula,Musalia Mudavadi and Gideon Moi have routed for a new flagbearer apart from Raila Odinga.
The alliance is however said to be split with a section backing Odinga.Wiper leader has been adamant that its time Raila Odinga stepped down for new pair.
