Nairobi Top Cop Leads In Digging The Grave Of The Late Senator Yusuf Haji

Nairobi Regional police commander Rashid Yakub has led in the digging of Senator Yusuf Haji’s grave.

The late Garissa senator passed away on the morning of Monday, February 15, at the Aga Khan Hospital where he was receiving treatment. In a video shared by Ahmed Asmali on Monday, Yakub dug Yusuf’s grave at Lang’ata Cemetery where the late will be laid to rest later today.

His humble gesture has however sparked mixed reactions, with some Kenyans saying he would have not dug the grave while in police uniform.

According to them, the police uniform is like a symbol of respect to the police service thus need to be taken care of in a better way,
