Murkomen attacks Uhuru over stolen Election results

Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen has once again launched fresh attacks on President Uhuru Kenyatta, taking his political wars with the head of state a notch higher.

The vocal senator and a close ally of the Deputy President William Ruto opened old wounds in his renewed war with president Kenyatta on election fraud.

In his attack, Murkomen opined that President Uhuru Kenyatta could be hiding something in regards to his 2013 and 2017 presidential election wins.

Taking to Twitter, the lawmaker questioned if there was something the head of state knew that his supporters did not know regarding the previous general elections.

“Raila has insisted that his brother stole his victory in 2013 and 2017. His brother has not objected. Is there something President Kenyatta knows that his supporters don’t know?” wrote Murkomen

Adding that the current tight bromance between the two political leaders could be linked to this, Murkomen further questioned why Kenyatta has never come clean objecting it.

According to Murkomen, it was very strange that the head of state has never come out to deny the allegations of stealing the elections on the two consecutive times.

His attacks on the head of state did not see the light of the day, as his ardent lawyer Ahmednasir Abdulahi took on Murkomen in a quick rejoinder.

The renowned city lawyer likened the senator’s words to the US President Donald Trump’s failure to concede defeat even after losing the polls massively to President-elect Joe Biden.

“As IEBC lawyer in 2013 & the President’s lawyer in 2017 (a) & (b) I CONFIRM & DECLARE that Hon. Raila was beaten into a pulp by H.E UHURU… As we are seeing with President Trump it’s GRATEFUL and HONORABLE to concede…but nothing turns on the SULKING of a SORE LOSER…” Wrote Ahmednasir Abdullahi.

The march 2018 handshake between President Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga has seen them work together since with divisions rocking the Jubilee party, as a section of the leadership accusing the wreck on Raila.
