MP who returned and apologised to Ruto claiming memory loss leaves again

The DP seems to be bleeding in an unstoppable way as far as his support base in Western Kenya is concerned. Barely a month after vocal legislator and outspoken defender of the deputy president, Kimilili member of parliament, Hon. Didmas Barasa announced his departure from Tanga tanga, yet another member of the faction from the region has done so.

In the last 10 hours or so, the Amani National Congress, a party led by One Kenya Alliance principal Musalia Mudavadi, has just announced having received Jubilee party MP and known William Ruto defender, Hon. Injendi Malulu, who has now joined the party.
Injendi Malulu is the MP for Malava, and this latest move to join Musalia Mudavadi’s camp comes at a time when Mudavadi appears to finally be able to galvernise the usually stubborn Luhya vote base.

ANC announced this late yesterday on its official Twitter page, with a photo showing Injendi’s unveiling. The photo’s caption read,

Hon. Malulu Injendi returns home. Malava MP defects to ANC from Tanga Tanga. Karibu.”

Malulu is remembered for having caused a stir late last year, after decamping from Ruto’s camp to ODM, only to once again return to tanga tanga hours later.
Injendi sensationally claimed that he had no recollection of what happened when he decided to join Raila, and had been misled by Oparanya.

“I don’t know what really happened. I only found myself standing with former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya. I am not for reggae and I sincerely apologize to my constituents over the move I took then. Am now back home,” said Mr. Injendi.

He added: “I want to tell Raila Odinga that I didn’t intend to meet him. It was Mr. Oparanya who misled me. I refuse to be associated with issues to do with reggae.”

“I don’t know what really happened. I only found myself standing with former Prime Minister Raila Odinga & Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya…” He had said at the time.
