Moses Kuria resurfaces with urgent message to Uhuru in recorded message [Video]

Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has resurfaced with an urgent plea to President Uhuru Kenyatta after Tanga-Tanga MPs were excluded from a meeting organized by the president’s men in Naivasha.

In a recorded message that is doing rounds on social media, Kuria warned the head of state on the direction heading to and urged him to cancel the meeting.

“I can send some smell of what is coming from the ground on what is coming and I want to tell Kenyans that it is not a good smell, members of 2007/ 2008. What happened at Kenol the other day should be something that should frighten each one of us.” Kuria said.

He added that excluding DP Ruto’s supporters from the meeting is ill-advised, maintaining that Ruto’s supporters are not affiliated to the two major political formations in the country-Jubilee and ODM.

“Saying a meeting between the two is all inclusive because one is from ODM and the other from the Jubilee party would be a lie. You know very well that Kenyans who support Ruto do not belong to any political party and it is high time that they are recognized as such.” Kuria slammed.

The lawmaker has been missing in action since he was diagnosed with Covid-19 in August.

In what is pointing to frosty and tense relationship between the President and his deputy, Ruto’s defacto spokesman Caleb Kositany criticizing the meeting.

“What bridges are they building when they are convening a meeting over the report in Naivasha in isolation?

What is making them to isolate some of us from the Constitution amendment process?” Kositany asked.
