The outspoken Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has made a worrying revelation hours after declaring that he is safe after rumors of his disappearance.
Taking to his Facebook page on Sunday 10 May evening, the vocal Gatundu South lawmaker
revealed that two schools in Ruiru Constituency have been relocated to pave way for private development projects.
Kuria in his post pointed out that Uhuru Kenyatta Secondary School and Ndiaini Primary School have been moved from their present locations to other locations for personal interests.
”Two PUBLIC schools in Mwihoko, Ruiru constituency- Uhuru Kenyatta Secondary School and Ndiaini Primary School- are being relocated to pave way for some PRIVATE prime development in the land they occupy.”
“The bigger problem is that the land they are being relocated to is Riparian land. Construction is already underway. Hon Simon Nganga Kingara. Stand up for your people,” reads Kuria’s post.
Kuria’s revelation came as a shock to the two schools learners as majority might been affected owing to the fact that the two schools might be moved to places far from their homes.
According to Kuria, the two schools have been moved to riparian lands claiming the development projects are for individuals he did not mention their names.
The legislator further urged the Constituency leaders to stand firm and reject this move for the sake of their people.
