The vocal Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has today trained his guns against his Mathira counterpart Rigathi Gachagua as the supremacy battle in President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Mount Kenya’s backyard gets nasty.
The outspoken Gatundu South lawmaker Moses Kuria took a swipe at his Mathira counterpart Gachagua for frequently referring to him as a deep state mole after he formed a new political party and fielding a candidate in the upcoming by-elections in Nyeri County and other counties.
The vocal lawmaker who appeared pissed off told of Rigathi Gachagua for compelling him to join the Deputy President William Ruto’s led United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party noting that he has his reasons why he not registered as a UDA member.
Without disclosing much to the public domain, the lawmaker further noted that he has his reasons why he won’t join the UDA party that the second in command is planning to use in his ambition to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Moses Kuria added he was a member of a party before even UDA was formed and the same party won several by-elections before UDA even won one.
“Gachagua never helped me in any way. He never contributed anything. He was there praising my victory in Juja as hustler nation victory. But I don’t know how I became an outcast for Gachagua to go all over blasting me because of a party,” Kuria stated.
“William Ruto has asked for a date, and I want to go there in an outfit that I prefer, if that is a crime then it well. I am not mad, there is something. I don’t want to share that public but there is something that I know that makes me not to join the party,” the lawmaker added.
The lawmaker also revealed that the DP convinced him to support the UDA candidate since he was trailing in the mini polls something he obliged and agreed and his candidate backed off from the race.
“The had tried in Kabuchai, Matungu, and Bonchari and failed. so I offered to give them a winning formula that helped them win but again in Kiambaa. And now I am being criticized for having a party,” Kuria added.
