Gatundu South Member of Parliament has finally responded to allegations of forming an alliance with ODM leader Raila Odinga ahead of the 2022 general election.
This is after reports emerged that the Chama Cha Kazi (CCK) leader, who is undergoing treatment in Dubai, had reached a working agreement with the former Prime Minister.
It was further claimed that the details of the deal would be made public on Saturday, February 19 at Thika Stadium. The date was reportedly selected to coincide with Kuria’s thanksgiving ceremony.
While dismissing the claims, Kuria alleged that those were propagated by supporters of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party linked to Deputy President William Ruto.
“You have enough people left in UDA. Focus on retaining them. Do not stress too much on the only one (Kuria) who has left,” he responded, in a statement posted on his social media pages.
