Following his move to support his newly registered Chama Cha Kazi outfit candidate, Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria was engaged in a running battle with the police in Meru County.
This is after his new political Chama Cha Kazi house organized for a march to office as their proffered candidate in the by-election Milton Mwenda submitted his documentation for clearance.
Their supporters had arrived from all over aboard lorries and Motorcycles to begin the days agenda, but were unfortunately dispersed by the police officers.
Reports indicate that the firebrand Tanga Tanga legislator is set to clash with the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party supporters linked to Deputy President William Ruto who have since unveiled their candidate in the race too.
The second in Command was on the record after his United Democratic Alliance party threw its weight behind Simon Kiambi Ngaruni as their preferred candidate in the mini-poll.
“We undertake to combine our efforts with Meru politicians and grassroots leaders, and rally behind the Hustler candidate Simon Kiambi Ngaruni in the forthcoming by-election,” the DP said.
Moses Kuria is looking forward to delivering a win in the upcoming by election, just like he recently did in Juja and Kiambu by-elections where he registered a victory to the hustler nation.
The two by elections saw two of his chosen candidates George Koimburi and John Wanjiku of PEP and UDA parties beat, Susan Munyua and Kariri Njama of Jubilee parties in Juja and Kiambaa respectively.
He has since been labelled a deep state mole for a reason best known to the accusers, with the DP’s brigade taking over his delivered wins in the recent by-elections a thing that has not augured well with him.
“I went ahead to win in Juja and after that, all these people, Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua and co. neither helped nor contributed in any way.
“They were there praising my victory as one for the hustler nation, I don’t know when this changed and when I became a criminal or an outcast for Gachagua to go all over blasting me because I have a party,” Kuria said.
He has since maintained that he will support the Deputy President and his 2022 Presidential bid, but will never join the United Democratic (UDA) Alliance party ahead of the general elections.
The ardent DP Ruto supporter was on the record in an interview noting that he will enter into a partnership with Dr. Ruto oh his own personal terms.
