Deported opposition activist Miguna Miguna has been on a roll, lighting up socuial meduia with his commentaries on the unfolding BBI ruling.
The self-declared NRM general celebrated each of the judges who poked holes into the BBI and hailed their wisdom and bashed the handshake duo of president Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga from time to time.
At one point he even offered to be the plaintiff in a case against the head of state.
“I offer to be Plaintiff/Petitioner Number 1 in the case of The People of Kenya v. Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta, @RailaOdinga and Others: Petition Number ….., 2021, Republic of Kenya. #UhuruMustFall cc: @NelsonHavi, @AngawaEA, @EOGADA, @waikwawanyoike, @eliasmutuma, @aluochier, @hrw.” Wrote Miguna.
“Good Day, Freedom Fighters. The #BBIFraud has been REJECTED. No president – legitimate or illegitimate – is legally permitted to SPONSOR a POPULAR INITIATIVE. So, how will the mythical President of Canaan and Dead Donkeys do so in 90 days after 2022 election? #UhuruMustFall
“Now that the Court of Appeal has UNANIMOUSLY AFFIRMED that Uhuru Kenyatta enjoys NO IMMUNITY against civil suits, @NelsonHavi and his team of Brave Advocates must file The Mother of All Lawsuits against Uhuru Kenyatta for all the HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS he has perpetrated.
“And while still at it, Freedom Fighters must SUE Uhuru Kenyatta and @RailaOdinga for the RETURN of more than Sh 2 Billion Public funds they ILLEGALLY wasted on the #BBFraud – with INTEREST. #UhuruMustFall” Miguna wrote.
He went on the rampage against pro-BBI bloggers, claiming that the ruling being delivered is beyond their comprehension.
“What the Judges are saying in many words in English beyond the comprehension of Norman Manyora, Robert Alai, Dikembe, Abraham Mutai and other lesser mortals is that reggae died before the High Court and that the Court of Appeal is cremating its carcass. Uwinjo? Unaigwa?”
“Viva, Justice Patrick Kiage! Death to the Culture of Impunity.” Hailed Miguna.
“Justice Musinga: “The judiciary ombudsman will be a terror to judges, magistrates, registrars and all judicial staff…This is an ingenious clawback to the independence of the judiciary. Before such consequential changes are made, THE PEOPLE MUST EXERCISE THEIR SOVEREIGN POWER.” He added.
