Malala and Osoro surrender to the police following by-election violence

Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala and South Mugirango Member of Parliament Silvanus Osoro have surrendered to the police over the violence that was witnessed in the by-elections that was held in different parts of country last week.

MP Osoro presented himself at the Kisii Divisional Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) headquarters after he went on hiding since Thursday March 4, 2021.

The South Mugirango legislator went on hiding after he allegedly caused chaos during Kiamokama by-election in Kisii County.

Sylvanus Osoro was accompanied by his lawyers; Kandara Member of Parliament Alice Wahome, Uasin Gishu Women Representative Gladys Shollei and Wilkins Ochoki to the Kisii Divisional Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) headquarters.

Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala also presented himself to the police at Kakamega Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) offices after he was summoned for creating violence during Matungu by-election.

The two leaders are currently being grilled by the police at their respective DCI offices after they voluntarily surrendered to the police.
