BBC Correspondent, Larry Madowo who honed his skills at NTV took to social media after he was recognized among the New African 100 Most Influential Africans.
Madowo made it to the coveted list has been a trail-blazer in journalism barely a week after he met history yet again when he in Canada by becoming the first black person to deliver a lecture at Carleton University.
The journalist is not new to the list with this being the second time he is making it.
Taking to social media on Monday, December 7, to remark on the achievement, Madowo admitted that he was shocked to make it to the list.
“I’m so stoked to be recognized among such great Africans for the second time! Thank you,” he noted.
Making it to the list that featured tech gurus and notable personalities was no walk in the park.
Among those included in the list are Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Nigerian actor, John Boyega as well as Senegalese International, and Liverpool forward, Sadio Mane.
