Kositany weighs in on Uhuru’s meeting with ODM candidate for Msambweni by-election with powerful sentiments

Vocal DP Ruto ally and Jubilee Deputy Secretary General Caleb Kositany has weighed in on President Uhuru Kenyatta’s recent meeting with ODM’s Omar Boga.

Taking to Twitter, Kositany said the Msambweni by-election is an eye opener for Ruto’s camp.

Uhuru hosted Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) aspirant Omar Boga on Thursday, December 10.

The Soy Member of Parliament added that political parties were no longer significant ahead of the 2022 General Election where different coalitions have emerged.

“It’s no longer about political parties, but the person you choose to support. Msambweni is an eye opener, ” said Kositany.

The meeting between Uhuru and Boga was considered by some as an endorsement by the Jubilee Party leader.

Lawyer Donald Kipkorir argued the head of state showed he was committed to his handshake with former prime minister Raila Odinga.

“For long, President Uhuru Kenyatta has repeated that he wants to chart a new political course with his brother Raila Odinga…Since March 2018, Uhuru wing of Jubilee has supported ODM candidates in all by-elections .. Latest is Msambweni .. Those with eyes can see!” he posted on Twitter.
