Kikuyu Member of Parliament Kimani Ichung’wa has disclosed how the Hustler Nation spokesperson Dennis Itumbi’s phone call saved UDA candidate Wanjiku from losing in the recently concluded Kiambaa by-election.
Speaking during an interview at Citizen TV, the Kikuyu lawmaker said that Jubilee Party was dishing out money to voters to vote in their favor and when Itumbi conducted his investigation, he called him on and informed him what was going on and they took quick action.
Ichungwa further stated that Itumbi informed the UDA brigade of bribery, intimidation of voters and use of power from their opponents and they had to work swiftly and shout out for help from the Security Agencies.
“Jubilee was on a mission to bribe the voters, Apply Intimidation, and rigged the whole By-election. But let congratulate our Communication strategist, Dennis Itumbi who was behind the Curtains making sure everything is on point for United Democratic Alliance,” Ichungwa started.
“I had a phone call from Itumbi informing me how Jubilee Agents were playing dirty Politics. And some senior people like Amos Kimunya were present. We had to raise our voices for help,” he added.
