Kiambu woman representative Gathoni Wamuchomba speaks for the first time revealing why she dumped Uhuru for DP Ruto

Nearly a week after making an abrupt U-turn leaving President Uhuru camp for his Deputy, Kiambu County woman representative Gathoni Wamuchomba has spoken, revealing why she joined the hustler house.

Speaking yesterday, Wamuchomba stated that her people of Kiambu were angry with President Uhuru Kenyatta, and it was this move that pushed her to make the move.

She noted that their hunger was prompted by his personal decision, and in the ruling Jubilee party despite their overwhelming support in 2013 and 2017 general elections.

Wamuchoma further stated that President Uhuru Kenyatta’s handshake with ODM leader Raila Odinga and reports of their potential merger ahead of the 2022 are some of the causes of the anger of her Kiambu people.

This comes just days after the firebrand woman representative bolted out of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s wing of Kieleweke, while joining the DP’s hustler house.

Reports indicates that she enjoys massive support from her Kiambu County base, being the third most voted for politician in the last general election after President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga.
