Kang’ata names the only three Kieleweke MPs he believes are truly loyal to Uhuru

With Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei having recently revealed that they have been bribing Kieleweke members to decamp, Senator Irungu Kang’ata has now come up with a list of members he believes will never leave Uhuru, leaving people wondering whether these are the members that turned down the alleged bribes spoken of earlier.

Ever since his ouster as Chief Whip of the Senate, Murang’a senator Irungu Kang’ata has gone full throttle in his attack on the Jubilee wing allied to the president. However, in a strange twist, while he was in the middle of a scathing attack against Kieleweke, he veered off and began mentioning members of the group who he believes genuinely love the president, and will stick with him to the bitter end which, according to him, is fast approaching.

Kang’ata was saying this as he celebrated the defection of Kiambu women representative Gathoni Wamuchomba who left Kieleweke last week.

Gathoni Wamuchomba had been a staunch member of Kieleweke, and a vocal critic of those allied with the deputy president. She however shocked everyone when she appeared in Karen during an unveiling that Introduced her as Ruto’s latest acquisition.

Senator Kang’ata said that this was just the beginning, and after Gathoni Wamuchomba, many more would storm out of Jubilee and no one will be able to stop the oncoming tide.

He said that earlier on, he had warned the president that all those who were by his side were just lying to him, and that when the time comes, they will abandon him. He said that his prophecy was now coming to pass, and soon, everyone would desert him and leave him all alone.

He however added that only three leaders would remain loyal and stick with the president to the end. He said that these were, Ngunjiri Wambugu, Maina Kamanda and Kieni member of parliament Kanini Kega.

Besides Wa Muchomba, MPs David Gikaria (Nakuru Town East) and Samwel Gachobe (Subukia) vowed to support Ruto in his 2022 presidential bid, signalling trouble in Uhuru’s camp.

At the same time, MP Wambugu predicted more losses for the ruling Jubilee Party if the outfit does not stem the tide.

The lawmaker divulged that he will not be surprised if another strong member of the Jubilee Party exits the team, saying they were committed to revamping their party and many people might not withstand that.
