Suna East Member of Parliament Junet Mohamed’s wife, Deka Jama stole the show today when her husband hosted ODM party leader Raila Odinga in Migori.
Deka who took to the podium was an embodiment of the ability to embrace other cultures while still celebrating her own as she delivered her address in fluent dholuo that earned her praises.
Netizens showered praises on Deka Jamaa, wife to Suna East MP Junet Mohammed, for her mastery of the Luo language despite being of Somali descent.
Deka was speaking at an event in their Migori home which was attended by ODM party leader Raila Odinga.
She reiterated that Odinga’s supporters remain loyal and steadfast in the journey towards a better Kenya that is more united and prosperous as captured in the video below.
On his part, the Orange party leader who met Migori delegates hinted at the possibility of teaming up with other NASA principals.
The former Prime Minister stated that the coalition had served its purpose but the leaders could still team up in the future amid reports of a mega alliance being crafted to face off with DP Ruto who has emerged as a front runner in the race to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta.
“Hiyo haimanishi ya kwamba hatiwezi kuungana tena. Hiyo NASA kazi yake ilikwisha lakini huko mbele tutakuja pamoja. (That does not mean that we cannot reunite again. NASA served its purpose but in the future we will still work together.” Odinga stated.
Among the alliances currently making headlines is the One Kenya Alliance that is linked with Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, KANU’s Gideon Moi, ANC’s Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya’s Moses Wetangula.
The alliance is reported to have the blessings of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s men with further reports suggesting that Raila Odinga could team up with the alliance to sweep to victory in 2022.
