Jubilee Party Responds to Murathe’s Resignation Claims

The ruling Jubilee party has finally spoken on the ongoing claims that Jubilee party Vice-Chairman David Murathe has tendered his resignation from the position he held within the party.

The Jubilee Party Director of Communications Albert Mumesi in a press release through the Party’s official social media page informed that the reports doing around social media platforms that Murathe has resigned should be considered as fake news.

The Jubilee Party further confirmed that Murathe is still the Jubilee Party Vice Chairman and that he is continuing with his roles and working diligently to accomplish his mandate as provided for in the Party’s Constitution.

According to Albert Mumesi, Kenyans should not take any reporter circulating such claims informing that any changes in the executive within the party should be made public through the party’s official organs.

“We would like to clarify that such reports are false. Hon David Murathe remains our able vice-chairman and continues to carry his duties in that capacity, working diligently to fulfill his mandates as provided for in the party constitution,” the Party’s statement reads.

“We should also like to clarify that the party is unequivocally focused on fulfilling the pledges made to the people of Kenya, and completing the journey of transformation,” the party added.
