Jubilee Party expels six nominated senators

Jubilee Party has today, Monday, February 8 expelled six nominated Senators over a number of disciplinary violations.

According to a statement signed by Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju, the party arrived at the decision after a meeting with the National Management Committee (NMC).

During the meeting, the officials deliberated on reports submitted by the Party Disciplinary Committee before making the decisions to expel the six.

The statement also noted that the expulsions are with immediate effect, adding that the same has been communicated to the Senate and Registrar of Political Parties.

The six also have the right to appeal.
