Inside The New Plot By Deep State To Freeze Out Tuju From The Jubilee Party

A section of insiders of the ruling Jubilee Party have opened the lid on an ongoing plot to forcefully take over the once invincible political outfit.

This comes at a time when the party is seriously limping, with one section led by Deputy President William Ruto leaving to join the DP’s new UDA camp.

Insiders now say that there is a plan to hand it over to someone else, hence the ongoing attempts to sack some 70 employees, including directors.

11 of the 12 directors of the parties that merged to for the party have been sacked, among them Joseph Maathai who represents the TNA party.

He told The Star that there could be a plan to forcefully take over the party, adding that it could the the work for some crooks out to realize the goal.

“If these instructions are coming from the party leader, then we want to tell him that his people are not executing it properly. And if it is not coming from his office, we need him to also understand that there are some crooks who are fashioning the party to their own projections,” he told the paper.

The purged members have warned that unless the issue is properly addressed they might have to sue. The termination letters were sent out by Acting Executive Director Wambui Gichuru.

But even more interesting details indicate that the process never involved Party Secretary General Raphael Tuju, who heads the Secretariat and who should be the one addressing such an issue.

He on Tuesday came out to rubbish Gichuru’s letters, saying that nobody has been sacked.

“It’s not true [that they have been sacked]. It was a miscommunication. We have asked them to come to the headquarters and the NMC will also meet them tomorrow (Wednesday) to explain what happened,” he told the paper.

Interestingly, Tuju, was earlier the one seen as being used to do the same thing; frustrating and kicking out allies if Ruto from top Jubilee leadership positions.
