Born to the Deputy President of Kenya Dr. William Ruto and his only wife the second lady of Kenya Mama Rachel Chebet Ruto, lawyer Nick Ruto is the eldest son of the second in command.
Nick is considered one of the City rich kids around owing to their immense wealth the DP’s family is boasting of, and controlling.

The young lawyer now 30 years old was born on September 9, 1991, being the eldest son in a family of six including another adopted daughter of the Deputy President.

The son Nick was among the 223 graduands admitted to the bar as Advocates of the High Court of Kenya in years ago in 2018 by the then Chief Justice David Kenani Maraga, with his name being gazetted as an advocate in Kenya in December 2017.

The young advocate has always been gossiped to be following in the footsteps of his father, and has been spotted in the crowds attending numerous political rallies while addressing multitudes of people, a trait linking him to his father DP Ruto.
Lawyer Nick has been spotted at political rallies in the company of several other politicians including among others Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen, Starehe Member of Parliament Charles Njagua.
In 2016/17 speculations were rife that he would vie for Turbo constituency, but he later dismissed the claims noting that he would make the announcement when the right time came.
He has also been very instrumental in engaging with the youths across the country while championing for the DP’s agenda, while at the same time participating at church fundraisers and several other harambees over the years.
Nick has also been involved in activism across the Country calling for the youth empowerment while shunning drugs and substance abuse at the same time in his call for a sober nation.
This has been witnessed during his recent visit to Mombasa in the company of politician Mohamed Abdalla Hassan, while engaging the youth from the county, a region in Kenya among the worst hit by drugs.
During the time he called on the government to partner with the corporate and individuals to embrace sports as a solution to the youths, to curb the drug crisis in the region.
The vibrant laywer also loves flashy lifestyle and does not shy from spending the family billions, and has on numerous occasions been spotted having fun in various popular Nairobi joints and others.
Reports indicate that, He has always been spotted partying with President Uhuru Kenyatta’s son, Muhoho Kenyatta.
Late last year, the lawyer and his friends spent time at the Lake Bogoria Spa Resort, a luxurious resort located in Baringo County, and associated with the family of late former President Mzee Daniel Arap Moi.
