I WONT CONTEST FOR SENATE SEAT, LUSAKA CLAIMS.

Senate speaker Kenneth Lusaka has dispensed claims that he will contest for Bungoma senatorial seat in the next general elections.
The former Bungoma governor was speaking during the burial of the mother to Treasury CAS Erick Wafukho in Tongaren .
“I am the senate as a speaker and I can not go back to the senate as a senator to ask for permission to contribute to motions from another speaker. That will be a demotion. “, said Lusaka while addressing mourners.
He told off the Bungoma deputy governor Charles Ngome for spearheading the propaganda.
“I have listened to the people and I know what they want me to do in terms of contributing to leadership of this county”, added Lusaka.
” I cant be a senator. That is impossible. All be engaging a reverse gear in leadership which is unacceptable “, added the speaker.
Lusaka is said to be flexing muscles to contest for the Bungoma gubernatorial seat to dethrone his successor Wyclife Wangamati.
Lusaka is the first governor of Bungoma.
