I Am Leaving Tuko- Celebrated Journalist Lynn Ngugi Finally Announces Her Exit

Award winning Kenyan journalist and Tuko’s digital media finest Lynn Ngugi has finally announced her exit from digital news platform Tuko.

In her Statement yesterday Wednesday August 18, 2021, Lynn Ngugi the producer and host of the famous Tuko talks bid goodbye to her fans noting that her tenure at the news platform had finally come to an end.

Lynn however noted that it was not a final goodbye, hinting of more and better things to be expected from her, adding that she wanted all to come from her first.

“Yes I am leaving Tuko but I promise you this is not goodbye, talk soon… And no, this is not a joke. I would never do that to you. However, the information is partly out there and I wanted you to hear it from me first. Love you all and thank you,” she posted.

The celebrated journalist did not disclose her next move, with news rife that she had secured a better place with a big media house.

Ngugi has been known for hosting several guests in her inspiring Tuko talks that hooked her up with severl Kenyan fans and other viewers beyond the Kenyan borders.

Her exit is however going to be a big down time to the Tuko family, having built a name and brand out of her conversations bringing people up to speed while talking and airing the needful.

Lynn has been recognized and rewarded for her dedicated work in impacting the lives of the less fortunate in the community being a receiver of the I Change Nations Community Ambassador Award recently.

“Thank you Dr Ruben West and your wonderful team for this award… Dedicating this to all of you that secretly pray for me. The last couple of months have been challenging but this was just an affirmation that the best is yet to come and I should keep going,” she said after receiving the award.
