Days after making public their desire to end their over decade long relationship with former Machakos County first lady Lilian Ng’ang’a, Machakos County governor Dr. Alfred Mutua has given a candid advice to youths in love.
Governor Mutua stated that people should never give up on love, urging that people should always have a relationship with everybody that comes into their lives while celebrating them.
“I’m a believer in love and I believe that you need to never give up on love, regards of what… and always celebrate the people coming to your life. Always have a relationship with everybody who is coming into your life that is amicable, a relationship of friendliness” said Mutua.
Mutua who was speaking with Mpasho during an interview added that while in love with somebody, that love never go away even is separation.
The Machakos County boss continued that people should treat others kindly and move on with life even in separation.
“And I see young people wanakosana wanatukanana na kupigana, that’s BS, if you have been in love with somebody that love never goes away. Everybody should treat the other kindly and you move on with life. Maisha iko ivo, and that the advice I give them”. Said Governor Mutua.
His sentiments come barely five days after making it public that they were ending their years of relationship for years with Lilian Ng’ang’a, and would still maintain their friendship.
“I thank God for bringing Lillian into my life and the many ways we have made each other grow. We have had a laugh and at times a tear but all in all we have been a power couple and very happy. We celebrate life and are pleased that we have reached this decision in a mature, agreeable manner.
I am a happy and blessed man and we have agreed we will protect and support each other,” said Mutua in Part.
Lilian Ng’ang’a also acknowledge change while making the move, in noting that the winds of change had finally blew her direction and was thus severing their relationship with the County chief.
“Winds of change blew my way and two months ago, I decided to end my long term relationship with Dr. Alfred Mutua. We had a good run and I am forever grateful to God he brought us together,” reads part if her statement.
“I put down the Machakos First Lady cap- and what an honor it has been to be of service!,” she said “I will continue to do projects close to my heart, charity work etc through the“Lillian Nganga Foundation’ as this has always formed who l am as a person” she said.
