Fortune Sacco held in stalemate at Kibera Black Stars.

 

Fortune Sacco were held to a 0-0 draw at Kibera Black Stars in the National Super League on Tuesday as they fell 8 points behind leaders Talanta.

Third place Kenya Police,who are on 53 points will go above fortune sacco if they beat Talanta Fc on Wednesday.

Both teams had a bright start to the match as they tried to see the back of their opponents net but their attempts fell naught,sealing the first half scores at 0-0.

After the breather, Michael Omulama, in the 52nd minute, attempted to nick the lead for Black stars through the created chance but they missed the target by inches.

Ten minutes later, Fortune Sacco’s peter Kilau sent a short that led to Kibera Black stars custodian frankline Mwenda jumping high enough to tip the ball over the crossbar.

In the 71st minute, John Omwita almost broke the deadlock for Kibera Black stars,but his shot was punched out over the crossbar by fortune Sacco goalkeeper Marvin Nderitu,sealing the fulltime score.
