Education CAS heckled over his remarks on Ruto

Education Chief Administrative Secretary Zack Kinuthia was today met with strong opposition from a section the Deputy President William Ruto supporter in Kiambu County earlier today.

This is after the CAS at a safety training meeting deviated from the main topic into a little politics a thing that did not go down so well with the audience.

The CAS at the meeting had accused Dr. Ruto of disrespecting his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta, forcing the Boda Boda riders to shut him out, insisting he keeps to the topic of the day.

The government through the ministry of Public service had organized for a nationwide safety training of the Boda Boda riders beginning today, to curb the road carnage.

The training was organized in collaboration with the Youth and Gender Services, County Governments, and National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA).

The training kicked off in various Counties like Kiambu, Kajiado, and Machakos, with ICT Secretary Joe Mucheru together with the Kiambu governor James Nyoro launching the Kiambu chapter.

Public Service, Youth and Gender Affairs CS Prof Margaret Kobia also accompanied Machakos governor Alfred Mutua at the Machakos people’s park where they kick-started the program.

The program is aimed at instilling safety, discipline, and integrity among riders across the country, and to also further enable them to acquire smart driving licenses and competency certificates.

This comes barely a day after Deputy President William Ruto was heckled by the Boda Boda riders in Isiolo on Saturday over the Building Bridges Initiative remarks
