A somber mood engulfed the air in Kuresoi South, Nakuru County after a form four student was yesterday Monday August 30, 2021 murdered after he was reportedly found in bed with a 35-year-old married woman in her house.

Reports from the crime scene indicate that the victim who name is yet to be established was stabbed severally after being found by the angry husband.

The student from Kapsumbeiywo Secondary School was reportedly found on the act with the woman by the husband, in their matrimonial bed, before the ugly incident occurred.

The victim was later rushed to Nakuru Level five hospital where he later succumbed to the deep stab wounds caused by the murder weapon.

Confirming the incident Kuresoi police boss, noted that the KCSE student succumbed due to his injuries while receiving treatment at the County hospital.

The husband of the woman only identified as Japheth Bii later fled the crime scene after committing the heinous act.

Police from the area have since launched a manhunt has been for man at large promising to do everything within their capability and power to ensure justice is served in the case.

The murder of the Student In Kuresoi comes barely a week after detectives from the Directorate Of Criminal Investigations nabbed the main suspect behind the defilement and subsequent murder of Ruth Wanjiku Kimani; a 4-year-old baby in Kirinyaga a fortnight ago.

Reports from the DCI, indicate that the 27-year-old Gabriel Muchira Muriithi was smoked out of his hideout after thorough operation by the sleuths from the agency in collaboration with their counterparts from the Crime Research and Intelligence Bureau (CRIB).

Delving on the gruesome murder of the minor, the DCI noted that her body was found dumped along the banks of a local river, with medica examination further determining that she was defiled in the process.

“On 11th August, 2021, at around 4pm, the lifeless body of baby Ruth Wanjiku Kimani, a play school pupil at Mugumo Primary School was discovered along the banks of River Karani, 200 metres from her school. Examination of the baby’s body by DCI’s Crime Scene detectives established that the innocent girl had been defiled before being murdered, a fact that was corroborated by an autopsy report conducted after her murder most foul,” DCI said.
