DP Ruto lights up Twitter with late night video of Raila

Barely a day after President Uhuru Kenyatta and Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga received the long-awaited Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report, Deputy President William Ruto has also commented on the BBI report.

DP Ruto took to his social media page and posted a message welcoming Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila Odinga to his Hustler Movement.

“The Makanga, wheelbarrow, mkokoteni, mama mboga, and bodaboda guys are finally at the center of our conversation.

“With empowerment, all of them can be like Mr. Hilton a shoeshiner who finally owned Hilton hotels. Welcome Tinga to the Hustler movement,” Ruto tweeted.

This comes after Orange Democratic Movement Leader Raila Odinga while addressing his supporters in Kisumu had acknowledged the fact that majority of youths are earning their daily bread as either boda boda riders or jua kali artisans.

Raila had also narrated an encouraging story to his supporters about the famous Hilton Hotel ‘Bwana Hilton’, and how he upgraded his small scale business as a shoe shiner to a big International hotel business.

“Nataka kuwapea nyinyi hadithi ya mtu anaitwa bwana Hilton; Hilton ni myahudi, mnaona Hilton Hotel Nairobi, si mnaona, lakini Bwana Hilton alianza namna gani? Bwana Hilton alianza kama mtu aliyekuwa akifagia viatu, akafagia, akafagia, bas kutoka hapo akaenda kwa kiosk, kiosk ya kuuza chai na mandazi, hiyo kiosk ikazaa kiosk ingine, hiyo kiosk ikazaa kiosk ingine tena baadaye sasa akauza hizo vioski akajenga hoteli” Raila said.
