DP Ruto holds crucial meeting with Jubilee MPs hours after Murathe’s damning remarks

Hours after Jubilee party Vice-chairman maintained that DP William Ruto is soiled with many corruption scandals and is not fit to be Kenya’s president, the DP has held a crucial meeting.

At least 6 Jubilee party MPs convened at the DP’s Karen home where politics took center stage as the DP made the latest move to woo the larger mount Kenya region.

The lawmakers included Moses Kirima (Imenti Central), Mugambi Rindikiri (Buuri), John Mutunga (Tigania West), Josphat Kabeabea (Tigania East), Kubai Iringo (Igembe Central) and JohnPaul Mwirigi (Igembe South)

Also in attendance were more than 300 pastors from Meru region who vowed to marshal their flock and ensure that the church is actively engaged in Kenya’s politics.

“We agreed that we will continue praying and going to church where those who don’t matter are. The church must be actively involved in the destiny of this country. It should not be left to the corrupt,” Mr Rindikiri stated.

Perhaps aware of the heat that his recent remarks has generated, DP Ruto took a break from politics and instead routed for lasting friendships stating that “two cannot walk together unless they agree”.

DP Ruto has been courting the church and rallying those who care to listen behind the anti-Referendum bandwagon.

Analysts opine that the DP will be using the referendum to gauge his strength even as opposition to his 2022 bid builds up from within Jubilee.

The most recent opposition came in yesterday when Murathe boldly appealed to the nation to rally behind Raila Odinga, maintaining that DP Ruto is not the best choice with his name featuring in several scandals.
