DP Ruto Breaks silence on death of Kakamega priest barely a month after gifting him a new car

Deputy President William Ruto has broken his silence on the death of Kakamega priest who died barely a month after gifting him a new car.

Sending his condolence message to church and people of Malava for the loss, Ruto eulogised Shamalla Shem as a firm faith leaders who was always Keen on adminstering powerful summons to the faithful of his church.

“Deeply saddened by the loss of High Priest Shem Shamalla of the African Church of the Holy Spirit – Kakamega. He was a faith leaders with steadfast religious credence. His sermons were always powerful, enriching and educative,” Said DP Ruto.

“Our prayers to the Shamalla family, the church and the people of Malava during this painful time of mourning. Rest in peace my friend,” Ruto stated.

On Wednesday, the Church’s national Secretary Bishop Sam Khalwale confirmed the death of Shem Shamalla after a short illness.

This comes barely a month after Deputy President William Ruto gifted the deceased a brand new car when he attended the Church’s service in Kakamega.

His burial will take place on Saturday 30, at Tumbeni village, Malava constituency in Kakamega County.
