DP Ruto Banned From Jubilee Headquarters

A day after Deputy President William Ruto stormed Jubilee party headquarters, party Secretary-general Raphael Tuju has announced that Ruto is barred from using the party headquarters for his 2022 campaigns.

Tuju noted that the decision by DP Ruto and his entourage that stormed the party headquarters at Pangani almost resulted in an ugly confrontation with members of the rival Kieleweke team.

He added that the party’s National Management Committee had recommended that Ruto be suspended as the Deputy Party Leader by the National Election Committee.

Tuju noted that the painful measures are as a result of the unbecoming conduct of DP Ruto and his allies who have since decamped to the Jubilee Asili Center.

The decision to storm the party headquarters at a time when President Uhuru Kenyatta is out of the country in France raised eyebrows.
