Samuel Muraya is popularly known as DJ Mo has opened up on how he makes his millions, stating that only about 20% of his net worth can be attributed to his entertainment career that he is famed for.
In an interview with media personality, Jalang’o, DJ Mo said that a significant portion of the money he makes and what he owns can be attributed to his business ventures.
The Kiss 100FM presenter questioned DJ Mo about the source of his beautiful mansion in Lavington and expensive cars that he drives as well as his flashy lifestyle that oozes opulence.
“80% of my cash is from my businesses but the industry is just my passion. What I get from the industry is very small, maybe not that small but 80% is from my hustles.
“I do tenders and other businesses. I usually approach politicians and ask to do business with them. On the other hand, I am a businessman,” he said.
The gospel DJ also joked that he will be interested in working with Jalang’o should he succeed in his bid to be the next Lang’ata MP in 2022.
DJ Mo boasts of an expensive collection of high-end cars and a palatial home in the leafy suburbs.
Among these is a Range Rover Sport, with leather seats that guarantee the best comfort and a high-powered music system.
His wife who is also a star in her own right spins a Jaguar XF which she reportedly bought for Sh7 million from a showroom in Kenya.

DJ Mo would add to the family’s car collection in 2021 when he bought his spouse another car for her birthday after overcoming her fear of driving.
“I love cars a lot and now that my wife has overcome the fear of driving, I want her to enjoy this beautiful Toy …I had to soup up this for my babe so she can improve her driving skills. The celebrity DJ is the brain behind the System Unit which is an entertainment company that does event management, production and talent management, TV entertainment productions.
The company also also runs a deejaying school and hosts a number of DJs Hype Men and MCs in Kenya.
