The ruling Jubilee party Deputy Chairman David Murathe has once again broken his silence telling Kenyans to warm up for the Raila Odinga Presidency as the Kenyan fifth President.
Speaking with the youths from Murang’a County where the former prime minister was the key man, Murathe noted that it was all systems go for the ODM leader to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta.
“Prepare for Jakom (Raila) to be the fifth President of Kenya. Those who have eyes can see because the signs of heavy rains can be predicted upon seeing heavy clouds. Is that not true?” he posed.
The former Gatanga Constituency lawmaker, stated that the recent end of the NASA coalition was the start of new political formations that will guide the ODM leader to the presidency sometime next year.
Murathe noted that the ruling Jubilee party was on course to chatting a political path with the like-minded parties like ODM in preparation to form the next government.
“I am always attacked and even labelled as the face of impunity in the Jubilee party, but I am telling you that there will be a new political formation,” Murathe said.
“Beginning yesterday NASA has died because if three parties pull out of it, the outfit is legally dead. From now henceforth, we want to come together and form a new coalition and we need the young people,” he added.
Going by his argument, if the Mt Kenya people work in collaboration with the Nyanza region and the Western people then the 2022 Presidency is like a done deal.
He expressed confidence in the formidable team that would be formed that way, backing it up by history while noting that it has never disappointed since independence.
“Whenever our people work with the people of Nyanza, we always win. Don’t you know that? Since independence, when we worked together, we won,” Murathe noted.
“At independence, we won, in 2002 when Raila worked together with Kibaki we won. Even in this that is coming if we work together as Mt Kenya region, Western and Nyanza people, we shall win,” he said.
The meeting was aimed at drumming up support for the orange leader in the Mount Kenya region where the Raila Odinga fear has forever been sold and Raila deemed unsaleable as a brand.
