Devolution Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa has spilled the beans on President Uhuru Kenyatta and his handshake partner the Orange Democratic Movement Raila Odinga’s secret plan to emerge the next general polls winner in the race to Statehouse.
The ODM chief is claimed to be working together with the Head of State as he seeks to take over power from President Uhuru Kenyatta as his term comes to an end despite receiving tough rivalry from Deputy President William Ruto’s camp.
The Devolution CS has outlined a strategic move that is being worked on that might aid Raila’s win in the fast-approaching elections.
According to Wamalwa if the county bosses support the Head of State and the ODM chief then convincing Kenyans would become easier during the campaigning period for the presidential seat and other top government posts.
Support from County governors could aid the former Prime Minister’s camp in the front line ahead of the 2022 polls.
He further noted that if the governors offer their support it would also reduce the tedious efforts that they put during campaigns.
The CS also advised the Head of State to preach unity to governors in supporting the youths to make work easier during the campaigning period.
