Assassination – Mutahi Ngunyi gives his take on Senator Victor Prengei’s death, questions beneficiaries

Renown political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has added a new twist to the tragic death of Senator Victor Prengei who perished in a grisly road accident on 16 August 2021.

In a post seen by this writer, Ngunyi suspected foul play in the death of the senator and urged mebers of the public to question who is the prime beneficiary in the nominated senator’s death.

Ngunyi maintained that the death may have benefitted people within the political circles.

“The QUI BONO question: Who BENEFITS if Senator Victor Prengei is ASSASSINATED through an accident? The political beneficiary is the one who KILLED him. Simple,” Ngunyi posted.

The deceased was a vocal ally of DP Ruto and his death was mourned by politicians from across the political divide.

Many mourned the Tanga Tanga lawmaker as a visionary leader, with a majority calling him a friend.

“Rest well my colleague Hon. Victor Prengei, Nominated Sen. We shall forever cherish your tireless efforts in fighting for and protecting rights of the minority communities. We have lost a great leader. My condolences to your family, friends and the entire Ogiek community.” Senator Millicent Omanga eulogized.

“Victor Prengei… My brother. Man this hurts so bad. What exactly is this life? Here today.. Gone tomorrow. May the God of all seasons come through.. Pole sana to his immediate family.” Added Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot.

“Sadly we have lost Nominated Senator Victor Prengei through a road accident this evening. May the Lord rest his soul in eternal peace” read a statement from UDA.

“Victor Prengei…My brother. Man this hurts so bad. What exactly is this life? Here today.. Gone tommorow. May the God of all seasons come through.. Pole sana to his immediate family.” Mourned Aaron Cheruiyot.

The Senator lost his life in a tragic crash at Gioto area in Nakuru County with the local police boss Gioto police boss Beatrice Kiraguri confirming the same.
