Angry Kenyans fearlessly dismantle Deputy President William Ruto over his late-night post on his official Twitter handle page after visiting the Mount Kenya region.
The second in command toured Nyandarua county on Sunday 25 July where he participated in a church service at St Joseph Catholic Church Rurii parish as politics took center stage.
Taking to his Twitter handle page the second in command asserted that the government needs to stimulate economic growth by developing small communities
“We need to stimulate, inspire development, and invest at the grassroots to open doors of development upwards,” read the second in command’s late-night tweet.
The Deputy President’s late-night message did not sound nice to a section of kenyans who flooded to social media to express their disappointment.
Several users blamed the DP for doing nothing during his period in power as others faulted him for spreading Covid-19 yet.
Kenyans also picked an issue with Deputy President for defending Mathira Constituency member of parliament Rigathi Gachagua who is linked to graft.
“How can you defend a corrupt leader who has been arrested for looting public funds and at the same time u want to be the president so that u can fight corruption silly,” one user stated.
“Stimulate, development, youth, economy, grassroots, opportunities. The meaningless words used in rotation by the ICC crook, looter of mult-billions and second in charge of the worst government Kenya has ever had,” another user weighed in.
