Amina Abdi Rabar vs Eric Omondi; beef alert! Show host rips comedian apart!

As the aftershocks of the Eric Omondi and Jackie Maribe video continue to reverberate across the country and beyond, a new battlefront appears to be opening in the dramatic life of the controversial comedian. Interestingly however, this time he appears to be the one who was provoked while he was simply just going about his business.

On the weekly show The Trend which airs on ntv, Amina Abdi Rabar reported on the popular video featuring Jackie Maribe, Eric Omondi and Simon Kabu, as Kabu mediated between the two and led them to a reconciliation.

Amina took issue with the way the entire thing was carried out, reading malice and exploitation in it. She noted that the two (Simon Kabu and Eric Omondi) recorded footage of the meeting despite the fact that Maribe was intoxicated and clearly not in the right frame of mind to be engaging a public audience. She further noted that the two were sober which implied that they knew what they were doing and purposely took advantage of her to meet their own selfish interests.

Amina’s co-host on the show Cindy Ogana was equally as scathing, if not more. She echoed Amina’s sentiments but even went as far as disputing the entire Kabu household and questioning their character as a family. Implying that they are people of dubious conduct, Cindy said that the Kabus were people who couldn’t be trusted.

Earlier in the week, the trio shot a video where Bonfire tours CEO Simon Kabu mediated between the two as they agreed to shelve their differences and come together in a noble effort of raising their child. Maribe was noticeably intoxicated in the video, which cast doubt on the seriousness of the resolutions reached in the clip and the authenticity of the intentions behind the entire footage.

“We will not crucify you because of what happened. We say that things happen but how you sort them out is what determine how mature you are,” Kabu told them.

The reconciliation comes days after both Eric Omondi and Jacque Maribe publicly differed over their son. In the disagreement, Jacque accused the comedian of neglecting the child while Omondi accused Jacque of denying him a chance to confirm the paternity of the child.
