Sarah Wairimu Requests Access To Her Kitisuru Home To Spice Wardrobe Game

Sarah Wairimu Cohen

The widow of the late Dutch Tycoon Tob Cohen, now wants the Court to grant her access to her matrimonial home to get her personal effects and car.

In a vocal application filed on Wednesday October 30, through her lawyer Philip Murgor, the widow told the Court that she had so far spent an arm and a leg on purchasing new clothes yet she had thousands lying idle in her Kitisuru home.

Further Sarah Pointed out to the Court that she was serially inconveniencing her friends and relatives by hiking lifts from them each time she needed to move around. Hence she urged the Court to release her car to her as soon as possible for easy commuting.

Giving her two cents on the application, Justice Stella Mutuku directed Murgor to file a formal application detailing all the items his client needed from the house. She intimated that the application will enable the state to determine what items are exhibit in the murder case in which she’s the main suspect.

However the state counsel led by Catherine Mwaniki, strongly dissented the application saying Sarah’s Kitisuru home was a crime scene in an active murder case hence suspects were not allowed anywhere near the premises.

The application scheduled to be heard on Tuesday next week will determine the direction of the Cohen murder case, having in mind that the prosecution counsel accused Murgor and her client, of trying to control the case.
