Bobi Wine’s wife Barbara Itungo Kyagulanyi has reportedly left Uganda for the USA. Media reports in Uganda say that she has joined her kids who left the country in January before the general elections. She reportedly left aboard Qatar airways.
Photos of Barbara have been seen on social media. Last month, Bobi Wine claimed that President Yoweri Museveni had planned to abduct his kids duringthe election period. Without factual evidence, he revealed that unknown people were trailing his kids.
“I received credible information of pending physical attacks on my wife and (the) kidnap of our children,” he claimed.
The opposition leader and his wife were recently detained at their home in Kampala for 10 days. They were later released after the court ordered the security forces to vacate the premises.
