Ann Thumbi Maintains She Will Move To Court To Fight For Her Child’s Entitlements

Days after Ken Okoth’s widow, Monica Okoth accepted the DNA results of the baby sired by her late husband outside wedlock, Okoth’s girlfriend, Anne Thumbi has revealed that she will move to High court to fight for her child’s rightful share.

Speaking through her Lawyer, Danstan Omari, she intimated that the next cause of action was to tackle her son’s entitlements under the succession law that will see him sorted in terms of school fees and medical cover.

Ann Thumbi who’s a nominated MCA in Nairobi County and a nurse by profession, caused a stir after she emerged to announce her position in Okoth’s life, shortly after the legislator had joined the after-world.

Thumbi with the help of Nairobi Governor, Mike Sonko, managed to steal the limelight away from the legislator’s mourning to a possible extramarital affair.

Despite the backlash that came with the reveal, Thumbi stood her ground daring the legislator’s family to deny her child. She wore her crown as the girlfriend so proudly and challenged every step Monica took in a Court of Law.

The extended family, Monica and Ann, engaged in a back and forth struggle in a situation that ended up shredding the legislator’s legacy to oblivion.
