There are reports that some politicians, including the former Mombasa governor Hassan Joho, are secretly collaborating with William Ruto. It is obvious that the majority of the leaders ignored Raila’s rally at the Kamukunji grounds, which put Azimio in danger.
The former governor of Mombasa may no longer be a member of the Azimio coalition, and this is just the most convincing evidence of that. It has come to light that Joho has pledged to work with president William Ruto for the benefit of the nation. It has emerged that Joho is not the only leader who is not interested in matters around Azimio. Most other leaders including MPs are largely not keen of working with Raila Odinga because they feel he doesn’t have chances.
As always, let’s wait and see of what happens for this is indeed a huge blow to Azimio. It’s evident that Joho is one of the strongest supporter of Raila Odinga hence his latest move is obviously a painful blow to ODM party.
Evans Kidero suffered a huge blow today after his key witness in the electoral malpractice against Hon. Gladys Wanga dumped him two weeks after revealing how goons with guns attacked him to declare Gladys Wanga the winner of the gubernatorial race in Homa Bay County. This comes after the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commision presiding officer Mr. Frederick Apopa changed his ealier statements. According to Frederick, Gladys Wanga won fairly and he never inflated her votes in the just concluded August 9th general elections.
Two weeks ago, the IEBC presiding officer revealed how rowdy youths with guns attacked him, forcing him to declare Gladys Wanga as the ultimate winner of the gubernatorial race between Dr. Evans Kidero and Gladys Wanga. He told the court that the goons forced him to change results in favour of Raila’s candidate Hon. Gladys Wanga.
