The sudden death of Lawyer Paul Gicheru has elicited lots of questions among Kenyans with the likes of Raila Odinga calling on the international community to investigate the death and find out what exactly happened to the lawyer. The Azimio Boss noted that Gicheru’s death had a similar approach to the ones of the other ICC witnesses who were killed in unclear circumstances.
Among those who were murdered in unclear circumstances was former Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo. According to his son Junior, his father was killed in his hotel room by unknown people who forced him to swallow 12 pellets that had been induced with ephedrine.
He was then forced to drink Coca-Cola which acted as a catalyst. He noted that his father died days after he agreed to share information about the post-election violence.
Mutula Kilonzo had received a letter from ICC Prosecutor Luis Moreno Ocampo asking him to share with the court any information he had about the activities of 2007.

Kenyans have reacted to the awarding of National Assembly Deputy Speaker and Uasin Gishu County Woman Representative Hon Gladys Boss Shollei, as the Moran of the Order of the Golden Heart by President Uhuru Kenyatta for her commitment work which she did and she continues doing in defence of President William Ruto. Where they have expressed different reactions about the award with some congratulating her saying she deserves the award while some feels she does not deserve the award, and she might have been fated just for being a loyalist and a crony of the president.
In reaction to the report by Citizen television today afternoon, that Uasin Gishu County Woman Representative Hon Gladys Boss Shollei has also been awarded as a Moran of the Golden Heart by President William Ruto. Some Kenyans says that the legislator who is a vocal defender of the president deserves the award while others thinks she doesn’t deserve the award. Hence she has only been fated for being an ally of the president arguing that such awards have lost meaning and they are just being dished to the president’s allies.
