K -sharks goes “cashless” against Gor mahia

Kariobangi Sharks will on Sunday the 18th of December play host to Gor Mahia at the Nyayo Stadium starting 15:00hrs in a Football Kenya Federation Premier league clash.

In a move aimed at maximizing gate collection, the Nairobi based side has decided to do away with cash collection at the gates. Instead, all match ticket transactions shall be done through Mpesa,a mobile money transfer service in the country.

Kariobangi Sharks have acquired the services of Swigo limited for this purpose. Fans who will be wishing to watch the match at the stadium will have to pay ksh 200/- and ksh 500/- for the terraces and VIP respectively, through the till number 5247859.

Sharks have posted a draw and a win from their first two matches of the campaign against FC Talanta and Ulinzi stars respectively.

FKF-PL record time champions Gor Mahia are also still unbeaten in the current campaign having played two matches, winning both, a 1-0 home win to Nzoia sugar and a 1-2 win away to Bidco united.

The clash at the Nyayo Stadium between sharks and Gor Mahia promises to be an entertaining one for neutrals. The sides have met five times since 2021 with both sides winning two of the five and the other one ending in a goal less stale mate.

Cavin Odongo’s lone goal lifted Posta Rangers to victory over AFC Leopards at the Nyayo Stadium, on Matchday 5 of the FKF Premier League.

Odongo’s goal in the 80th minute was enough to secure the Postmen their first win of the league.

KCB returned to winning ways beating Bidco United 2-1 at Thika Stadium. Kennedy Ochina opened the scores for KCB in the 40th minute and added to the tally in the 72nd minute.

Bidco United scored a consolation goal in the 98th minute.

At the Ulinzi Sports Complex, hosts Ulinzi Stars drew 1-1 with Sofapaka FC.
